Completions/receptions behind the line of scrimmage count as -5 points.
First downs count as 10 points.
A fumble after a first down is the square root of -144.

nah.. i will keep it simple... the point is fantasy rankings... can't use my definition of the best fantasy scorings...

when i said i would use different formula, i would use 4 different scoring systems

1. #of correct players in pool- if we are ranking 32 RBs, i want to know how many players you picked that were in the top 32- order does not matter...

2. differential- player ranked 32 but you ranked him 1 would be a differential of 31. we use absolute values, and the maximum score is one number over the the number of players to rank

3. how many picks you got exactly right

4. how many top 5 correct, top 10, top 20....


then i take the 4 scores and combine them somehow...

Numbers 1-4 are easy enough. The hard part is how you combine them.

might be scare on here for a couple weeks - under the weather then heading to Michigan for a wedding.

got bit by a spider behind my ear whilst sleeping MON night, TUE evening neck was swollen and running a fever.
Also got to find out that I AM allergic to some medicine, like the antibiotic the Dr gave me. Only took 3 pills/36hrs to cover about 70% of my body in an itchy rash.

Biggest disappointment?
Won't be able to participate in a wiffle ball tourney this weekend, Kegs N Kickball next WED night, drinking on a huge boat on lake michigan next THR, or just drinking in general on the trip/at the wedding.
