Barilko has a 44-point lead on Micro and nobody left; Micro has Stafford and Megatron to go.

This is gonna be awesome; Lions fan that he is, I"m betting Micro is pretty stoked.

You'd better stick with Rice. Since Bell is gonna run up 78 pts, that won't leave much for Reggie

Here is my prediction:

Bell goes all Jamal Charles and puts up 150 yards with 5 scores.

Pitta puts up 180 yards with 3 more scores, for a combined total of 81 points

but a late game pick 6 from the Lions D salvages the win for Tlance's TD Makers.

Sounds like something my team would've pulled this year! :)
Good luck in round 2 Tlance!

So Wil, what is it going to be? Bush or Rice?

Good luck.

I hate to say it, but I don't think Rice gets as many points as Bush did on the first drive. Maybe I am wrong though.

Wil at least it turned out that it wouldn't have mattered if you started Bush. Not that it makes you feel any better though.

I have a strange feeling that I have gained a new fan on my side in Micro since he will move up with me if I beat Barilko in the final. I won't pull any punches though. My best team will be on the field and may the best team win. Shocking that both guys with Jamaal Charles advanced to the finals. Funny how 51 points will do that.

I checked back and Barilko and I have scored the most points in the B league 3 straight weeks so it should be an epic battle for the championship with the two hottest teams meeting each other.

Wil - I wish I could say good game but from the look of our pitiful showings this week, both teams we fielded just sucked. As it turned out my DST and K were difference makers in our epic showdown. ... not a good sign.

Congratulations!

Tommy (tlance) and Doug (Lefty) for advancing to MBBRL III

P.S. Lefty, thanks to your Ravens for beating the Lions for us Bears fans.

P.S.S. I'm sure Wil is feverishly writing a classic cyber novel to capture the essence. Either that or his loss gave him writer's block?

Yep - Justin Tucker is my newest hero as the primary offense in Ravens land.
Heard a lot of stuff from Mike & Mike on ESPN radio this morning basically putting Stafford in the same light as Romo. .... Both seem to choke & gag when the game is in their hands. Not sure I totally agree, because the play calling by the Lions and Cowboys has been questionable at best - then again, maybe they both audible a lot.

Yes, but you are still the odds on favorite to take the title.

What are the chances that your team puts up another dud and that mine stays hot?

I would say not so great.

Well as we all know anything can happen in fantasy - that's why we play. Anyway, best of luck to you as we prep for the final showdown of the 2013 MBBRL season.

Kind of sad it is almost over for another year. ..... :bawling:

The MBBRL Third Annual Semi-Final Results

Barbarians at the Gate

Bandit Takes Seattle!

With his fourth straight 120+ score, the relentless Bandit has made it to the B-League Finals, 144-119, despite a strong showing by underdog HaroldSeattle. The difference was Charles. Mendy had a solid 18-point performance, but if Bandit had him in instead of Charles, he would have lost. Had HaroldSeattle pulled Gerhart and replaced him with TRich, he would have posted his season-high (and still lost!)

Barilko's Oilers Torch Microwahevo

Nobody's hotter than Barilko, who burned through another opponent for his eighth win in nine games, incinerating Microwahevo 128-102. Micro's reliance on Stafford blew up on him, as Foles would have given him the win and a certain spot in the A League next year. As it is, his hopes for reaching the A League rest on Bandit taking the championship. Barilko will steal that A League spot if he can claim the B League championship in a battle of two well-deserving competitors.

Keepers of the Flame

wilwhite's Sad Finish

Normally it's about who wins, but not with this matchup. Lefty got off to a lame start with a mediocre performance by Peyton Manning, which wilwhite countered with a tepid performance by Knowshon Moreno. Come Sunday, Oingoboingo and Andre Brown were bland for Lefty, and wilwhite cleverly pulled Quarless to put up a yawner from Logan Paulsen and managed to pull a 2 from the Saints while the Steelers watched with 15 from the bench. Come Monday Lefty had crept to a piddling lead and wilwhite needed pedestrian performances from Stafford and Rice/Bush to catch him. In keeping with the tone of the match, wilwhite started Rice over Bush, just to ensure that this was the worst semi-final ever. Lefty not-lost, 90-76, and stumbled into a berth in MBBRL Bowl III.

Tlance Skewers Treff

Tlance got 51 from Charles and didn't come close to needing it, getting his second 75+ point victory in a row. No drama here. The only position where Treff beat Tlance was DST. So after magically making the playoffs Treff's luck ran out. Tlance, on the other hand, now has the chance to be champion of the B League and A League in consecutive seasons.

Good luck to Bandit, Barilko, Tlance and Lefty in the finals!

Yep - Justin Tucker is my newest hero as the primary offense in Ravens land.

Was great that Tucker bailed the Ravens out. Was wondering if there's any talk of Flacco choking? He was overthrowing everyone in the 4th quarter. And not by a little bit. His passes were off by like 15-20 yards.

Nice write up Wil.

Awesome season guys! You are quickly gaining powerhouse status, tlance. Great job. Good luck in the finals to both leagues.

Is there anyway, someone could put down the rosters for the championship games? I'd like to have a real time update.

...for those in baseball, see you soon! for those not, I'll still be around I'm sure...

and to the master, wilwhite ... amazing, simply amazing... and those turtles topped off an incredible year! :laugh3:
