Brutal week for me, I need to go back a few days and stay in bed or something. Luck in the lineup in this league and Rivers to the bench in my money league have rendered me useless. Dropping the Cards D didn't help either, and MJD benched in my money league was awesome as well....

:noidea: :gaah:

I'm afraid the KOTF will be taking a hit this week in the points category.

Well I should have followed my own advice on Chef's overrated thread. . But I really didn't think Tavon Austin would truly be a better option than Decker.. Even though I was way down on Peyton. Uggh

My coma team might beat both my standard and suicide teams on any given week... But I would take my MBBRL team over my suicide team any week given the loss of Martin and the total lack of depth

Nope. I think I would be happy with my Suicide team in most any other league especially a flex league.......even if I need good nights from Gore and RGIII to win tonight.

Nope since I haven't been able to full a roster all year and my preseason sleepers have remained asleep. My coma team has actually faired better dodging injuries. ...... then again, those guys don't play much. .....

11-19-13 > Treff lets Joe win

Oh I highly doubt I'll have to let you win.

Thanks.

What did I tell you guys? I get eliminated from the playoffs and NOW my team decides to make me look like I know what I'm doing.

As for the MBBRL vs Suicide team. Both are miserable.

MBBRL (will be 4-8 after Monday), and Suicide (will be 5-7), and that's AFTER recent WINS in each league. I'd rather blow up both teams and start over.

Both of my teams suck. When you don't do your prep work your teams look like mine.

KOTF: 1128 PF

Scape
Suicide: 1063 PF

Considering bye weeks and injuries and everything, that's kind of amazing.

Week 12 Report

Return of The Family Cartel

Bandit and Lefty remembered who they were, posting the first- and second-best scores in their respective leagues, extending their PF and breakdown leads, and moving into position to clinch their divisions this coming weekend. Bandit sent the Drone packing 121-68 and is now up by 36 in PF and 3 1/2 in breakdown games; Lefty trounced Monkey 177-51 (leaving Monkey at the top of Relegation Roulette) and is now up 64 in PF and 4 in breakdown games.

In

Microwahevo barely withstood a 50-point Anquernick attack Monday night and escaped with a 97-96 win over Foot - making Micro the first team in either league to secure a playoff berth. Props.

Not In

From last week's report on HaroldSeattle:

The only way he could fail is by losing all three games while Sox, Spiller or TK wins all three.

In Week 12 he lost the first of three, going down weakly to MilkSpiller 73-58. He has another chance to clinch Week 13 against TK, who's reduced to a spoiler role, having lost to Sox.

If Harold loses to TK, though, whoever wins the Week 13 Sox/MilkSpiller matchup still has a chance. If it's Sox, it'll come down to a Week 14 head-to-head all-or-nothing matchup.

Wild Wild Huns

JDM caught Barilko, 113-93, to take the wild card lead with the H2H tiebreaker. He still has an outside shot at the division title, but in any event the wild card is coming from the Huns division, and any of the four can still end up with it.

23

Duff of Seneca put up a Jordan, which is not good in FF. (Hard to count it as a league low when his QB has been on IR for a while.) Duff seems doomed not only to relegation but, much as he has been valued as a founding MBBRLer, to being cut loose for violating the league's, you know, clause about actually playing.

Standings

Keepers of the Flame

Barbarians at the Gate

Keepers of the Flame vs. Barbarians at the Gate

The Barbarians made a 20-point dent. That ain't gonna cut it. With a 125-point KOTF lead remaining (13632-13507) the Barbarians are going to have to step it up if they want four teams moving up. Teams moving as of now: 2

1) Not that I'm complaining about my ranking, but these numbers don't match the chart picture?

2) How many more weeks do the 5 of us have to sweat this out?

This is the first evidence I have seen that Wil White is in fact human and not a fantasy football cyborg sent to destroy us all.

The chart from the KOF league reflects standings after week 11 and not the latest version.

By the way, looking ahead to the future, what are the tie breakers used to determine playoff berths? There are some pretty interesting races out there.

Oops.

The ESPN tie-breaker setup is a little weird. I wanted (naturally) H2H followed by division record followed by PF, but they don't have that. If you select H2H the next tie-breaker is PF, so you'd never get to division record. I selected division record, which means H2H is the second tie-breaker, followed by PF. Kinda odd, but there you have it. I'm hoping division record only matters for teams in the same division (seems obvious, but they don't specify).

If it's how I expect, I guess you could beat someone in your division twice and still end up 2-4 in your division and lose the tie-breaker... so don't do that.
