personally, my feeling about stafford is that he is very talented but his mechanics are awful and i blame that on the piss poor coaching staff in detroit. the guy hasn't improved at all since being drafted and that falls on the coaches.

ok, because i'm bored, i started looking at stafford's game log.

first off, stafford's overall record as a starting qb in this league is 24-35. that's pretty crappy in general.

prior to this season, 22 of his 28 losses as a starting qb were in fact against teams with winning records so the 1-22 record sounds believable.

this season, he is 3-5 against teams that are currently above .500 so is he improving in 'big' games?

Every time I watch a Lions game he throws an interception with that silly side arm throw. What is he doing there? If I were a Lions fan I would not stop yelling at the TV every time I see him do it, which is quite often.
