Joe is the biggest surprise but I guess with his injury history, it’s not all that shocking. Feel bad for Tucker because once that team split, his days were numbered. Mickie James could go to AEW and be another Serena Deeb type person that could help the women’s division.

That would be a possibility. If there was ever a spot for Tessa Blanchard if they had any interest, that’d be the perfect group for her as well.

The entire wrestling world is gonna blowup Joe's phone and they should. He's had a rotten spell of injuries and he may be at a point of his career where he can't go full time because of it, but he's still great person to have around. Honestly, WWE is stupid for letting him go even if they didn't want to use him in ring anymore.

AEW needs to snatch up Mickie James ASAP. She's older, but she's still got enough talent left in the tank and star power to put on good matches with their top stars. And more importantly, she's a fantastic vet to help out a lot of their greener women they have on their roster.

A cool thing about Joe is WWE gave him a platform to become a bigger star but hes not really a "WWE guy." If he signs with AEW it feels more like a guy who helped create the indie vibe they're going for rather than a WWE retread. Hes a great promo too. AEW really needs a second show.

I think it wouldn’t be a bad idea for him to go back to where he made his name, which is ROH. Impact would be fine as well but I don’t know a lot about their roster. I think the AEW roster is too bloated at the moment on the men’s side to need him.

Now they're struggling to find women's tag teams, just throwing together random pairs that don't fit despite having the Iconics and Riot Squad (who I'm surprised survived this round of cuts as well)

Their roster is a tad big for just the 2 hours a week they have but you make exceptions for guys like Joe. Whatever plans they had, you change them when Samoa Joe is available. Just write the check and ask how much he wants

I just feel like his recent injury history can't be ignored. I'm thinking that all of those years in TNA and ROH eventually caught up to him while in WWE. I'd be extremely cautious signing him.
