He's a dick

He might be, but sometimes you have to be a dick to be a successful coach. If Phil Jackson were coaching against a team drowning in controversy I'm sure he would've fed the controversy as well. I don't blame him for doing this, Clippers made it too tempting to do so.

It seems a bit self serving and less then genuine


If he wanted to make a true statement, he can simply boycott his own presence at the game.


It would be a far more admirable moment if Marc Jackson refused to coach.


But, instead he wants the fans to boycott and likely cost hardworking concession guys possibly their best chance to get decent tips.

Both teams should decide together to boycott the first, say, minute of the game.

Go through all the normal pre-game motions, then when the jump ball goes up, everyone just stands there in silence for a full minute.
