Oh jeez Skins... just stop. If they do it, they can kiss prob. 1st, 3rd, 5th, and 2016 2nd away. Goodbye more depth. That team was basically ranked bottom 1/3 in defense and has holes in the secondary. They were bottom 10 in sacks generated and 2nd overall in sacks allowed. I don't know how PFF ranks them top 16 in offensive line, because everyone outside of Trent Williams sucks.

I'm hoping Skins trade the pick so we can bolster that o-line. There isn't a top 5 offensive lineman worthy of the #5 pick but if they can trade back to around 15 and acquire extra picks then that's when you see the value of taking a OG or RT which the skins need badly. Those positions and 17 others they need.

I'm hoping Skins trade the pick so we can bolster that o-line. There isn't a top 5 offensive lineman worthy of the #5 pick but if they can trade back to around 15 and acquire extra picks then that's when you see the value of taking a OG or RT which the skins need badly. Maybe Washington should impeach Snyder and hire you as the GM of the Skins. Or actually, so we don't have another competitive team down the road in the NFC, don't. Don't do that.

I get your concern here. It would make the Titans a regular powerhouse with all the picks they'd get.

2015 swap 1st rounder
2016 1st round
2017 1st round
2015 2nd/4th round
2016 3rd/5th round
2017 4th/6th round

This makes sense for them to be saying these kind of things at this point. Good chance the Jets take Mariota if he makes it to 6 so driving up the cost of the 5th pick for anybody who is wanting Mariota just benefits the Redskins. If teams know they are interested in him they will have to think they will need to trade a bit more to convince them that they are ok to trade back.

Nothing more than a smoke screen. The QB problems were bad enough with RG3 and Cousins adding Mariota to the mix would cause big problems unless they were trading RG3.

Agreed entirely. I just don't know how much any team would value RG3 at this point. He's basically cut worthy. I could see a team giving up like a 7th for him? For a one and run QB with major injury concerns? Meh.

Skins just need to cut him and move on (if he doesn't pull it together this season). I'm still shocked his shoes or whatever is in Canton? Give me a break.

I think someone would take him due to the decent 2012 he had and his potential but I am not sure the skins would give up on him just quite yet. I see them giving him the upcoming season and then taking it from there.

If they cut RG3 then who will be the skins QB? Cousins is a great backup QB but not starter. Maybe the Skins should bring back Heath Shuler If I was drafting I would first look for a trade if Mariota falls to us. If no partner then I take BPA no matter what the position. Skins have to many holes to fill. Trading back and acquiring more picks and selecting a OG or RT would be my dream scenario. That and receiving 4-1st rd picks from the Rams for RG3.

Why don't the Redskins want him? Most important position on the field. RG lll is not durable. We all know he's a hit or two away. How can you not take The Guy if he drops to you. You don't just take an OL.

I like this possibility. RG lll would make a great back up. Excellent wildcat possibility.

You are overthinking it with all this trading around. A franchise QB falls to you and you've got issues, Redskins have issues, and you take him. No-Brainer! No relying on others or taking the best guard at 5. Gimme a break!
