It was almost kind of funny watching Diaz last night. It seemed like he was just practicing his fastball as he started off throwing like 12 straight or something. Then when it came down to business he snapped off three good sliders and good night. Guy is so damn talented

Good game last night and the M's and if I figured right, we are over .600 (.607) Looking for a good game again tonight if the Paxman is on his game. Going up against lefty Brett Anderson who is making his first start since being called up from Oakland's AAA.

Why do I have that sinking feeling that we (M's) are going to make him look like the next Cy Young. These are the type of players/games that always seem to end up destroying the M's, year after year. I really hope I'm wrong tonight. Go M's/

Seems like Paxton was pretty close to getting back to where he was most of last year. His K rates are going up which is great. His main issue is walks right now. Given that Oakland is a pretty good hitting team thus far, Im not quite sure what to expect but I do think this offense should be able to hit Anderson. Facing lefties wasn't ideal like a week ago but now that Heredia is back up and Healy, Cruz and Zunino are healthy we should be ok there.

He's had a 5 hit game with every team he's played for.
