So far I’m bummed about moving JK because of the potential and control, and moving Geno was yet another stab at the heart of the team. Geno played a solid third and provided power from the hot corner, but most importantly his contribution to the clubhouse may be what Jerry continues to overlook in these deals. When nobody wants to sign with you and the ones that want to stay keep getting traded how do you expect to ever have a team culture instilled in the clubhouse? After Jerry came out immediately following the season with his 54% and fan favor comment there is no way in hell that this doesn’t end up in a couple of splash signings. Even for the Mariners I’d be highly shocked if they make these moves and end up with a repeat sale job on the fans that the Tommy LaStellas and AJ Pollacks of the world is what saves this team. We are cheap no doubt, but minimal moves would be fan base suicide at this point and we know that dork Stanton is only in it for the money at this point. Something is brewing, stay tuned……..

That is what scares me. One big move to make the fans happy but it won't make us better. One big splash move with the team we had last year would have some but still would not have made us a contender. More of a challenger at best. Now we have lost much it is 3 steps back waiting for one big step to come. That is the PR game we play like the Cano signing or the Julio extension. PR moves.

I love your stuff, but man if I have to read that one more year I am jumping off the tallest bridge. It is literally said every year. I know at some point it may actually happen, but I don't care to wait anymore.

I know they will do something to keep the masses happy, but I want them to improve which has yet to happy in the last ??? years.
