Agree, immediate results are amazing but the work is just as important. People that are all about results, at least to me, can't appreciate a productive out or only look at the stat line when a guy is slumping.

Zunino ugh... a HR a double makes me less of a fan of him in AAA. Just get base hits or BB... that's what he needs to work on.

A guy I liked on a quiet signing this off season is Efren Navarro. Just seemed to kill us when he was with Angels and always thought he had a smooth stroke.

Good for Zunino.

If he had been handled by a competent organization, he might've been called up for the first lime last summer.

We'll see if can do what NWAZ is talking about consistently, and maybe get to a point where he can come up and get some work from a good mentor like Iannetta at some point this season or next.

Wow Zunino is tearing it up! I hope he continues to play well and continues to fix what was wrong with him and continue getting better. I really want to see a large sample size from him in AAA before I get too overly excited about his hot start.

Yeah pretty solid line. I actually listened to the innings that he pitched, most impressive about that start was those 2 hits were against the first 2 batters in the game, after that he was pretty much lights out.

Also the call on O'Neills homer made it sound like an absolute monster homer, then again a lot of his homers are that way.
