nah.

UConn has done ok based on the recruiting numbers (although this year's crop was a clear step down).

But finding the right coach is a challenge.

It's not as easy now for them as it was for Ohio St to snag the Butler HC.

I'd love Billy donovan but if he even got fired it wouldn't be until June.

That would be a HELL of a risk for the University.

No doubt finding the right HC can be difficult.

Ohio State & Chris Holtman exceed all expectations I had for Ohio State this year. If I remember correctly the Buckeyes were picked to finish about 14 in conference. I was shocked they finished tied for 2nd in the BigTen. I didn't expect them to have this kind of year.

Holtman is a damn good coach.

Everyone knew that.

My overall point was just that UConn probably can't do the same. They're gonna have to dig a level lower than the BE or AAC to get their guy.

Seems like Danny Hurley is target #1.

If he takes the Pitt or Louisville job...i have no idea who they should get.

Again, not a strong crop beyond Hurley.

I think UConn should hire Lavar Ball.:D

Dan Hurley has done a fantastic job turning around URI, but man, when I watch his teams play, I'd be so nervous if my team hired him. With that said, it is somewhat of a small sample size and possibly a product of college ball.
