it's an awful crop of coaching options this year IMO.

The ones who will probably be really good (Oats, McGrath, Otzelberger) are a little too green to be handed the keys right now.

You steal a coach who is with a program. Uconn is still a very desirable job.

It's just not happening.

Why not? It won't happen too often but this isn't 30 years ago or so when players from non P5 programs aren't noticed. Shit if I was a legit NBA prospect & say playing @ Vanderbilt going to a team like Houston isn't that much of a step down.
