Sabres:
G-Hasek
D-Mike Ramsey
D-Bill Hajt
F-Perreault
F-Martin
F-Robert

Hono(u)rable mentions:
D-Phil Housley - I went with Ramsey and Hajt because they spent more of their careers in Buffalo
F-Pat LaFontaine, Danny Gare, Alexander Mogilny - All could have made the list, but hard to vote against the entire French Connection being there since this is a starting lineup and not just the best players in your team's history.

Poor Chara's been a goddamn terror on ice for the Bruins for almost ten years and he still can't make the cut.

Justifiably so considering the folks above him, but still.

Yeah, Orr, Bourque, and Chara. You'd have not only one of the most sound tandems on D, but probably the most explosive pair on offense as well. Sick.

Do we have every team yet?

It would be fun to have a tournament with the best rosters of all-time and put together a little tourney where we can vote on the winners and see who comes out on top.

Orr and Bourque were drafted by the B's. Chara was signed as a FA.

The French Connection were awesome. And a true line, the likes of which you just dont see anymore. Not 3 man units anyways.

Almost as good as Thompson-Sittler-MacDonald :yahoo:

Brad Park?

Scarborough's finest. Love that guy, he's loads of fun to talk to.

Now that I think of it that's an interesting question, is there another city that's the hometown of two Hall of Fame defensemen (Scarborough has Park and Larry Murphy)? I'm not talking bullshit neighbouring suburbs or anything like that (given that Scarborough was a suburb of Toronto in the first place) but guys actually within the proper borders.

Yeah, that's just how the game is played these days though. Oddly enough, most coaches would be criticized now for creating a consistent 3 man unit like that these days. Unless they were winning every single year, the coach would get the Bylsma label of not knowing how to adjust.
