For those of us who haven't caught a single inning of the spring thus far and you have what are your impressions of him thus far?? I really want him to supplant Asche for 3B but not sure Ryne will go that route unless Franco truely has a monster spring. That being said I am not holding much value in Asche, I hope I'm wrong but his defense is nice but the lack of a bat he displayed last year was concerning. All I keep hearing is Franco is a complete player this and that, from the people who have actually seen him play this spring what is your impression????

Only seen three games, he didn't impress too much. Seemed to be getting under every pitch (probably really anxious) and popping up. Can't say he got a hit in those first three games.

In any case, it's fucking three games of Spring Training. I'm more worried about pronouncing his name. Michael? MAH-kel? MAY-kel? He's going to need to change that name to a good American name if he wants to start for my Phillies. I like Tim. Tim Franco
