By far is a stretch. I'd say they are now on par with the Bulls (provided Rose is healthy).

lets stack up the two rosters from best to worst - if someone thinks i have misplaced someone let me know- ill make slight talent adjustments to try and matchup positions better-

ill gladly take some advice/help if anyone would be so kind as to offer it:

LeBron v. Rose--- easily LeBron
Love v. Noah--- 2 great players but cmon- Love
Kyrie v. Butler Kyrie whoops his ass
Varejao v. Gasol Gasol but not by much
Thompson v. Gibson Gibson is better- but Thompson did almost avg. a dble/dble
Waiters v. McDermmont Waiters
Marion v. Mritoc Probably Mrotic, but we shall see
Miller v. Dunleavy Wash

Cavs 3 best players are obviously a lot better than the Bulls 3 best players- and there just isnt enough of a difference in talent on the rest of the roster to make a material difference

always has been- always will be

and the Cavs have the most talent in the East by far- and arguably the most in the NBA- though OKC and the Spurs are loaded as well.

Clips are solid, GSW is solid, Bulls are solid, Mavs are solid

There's tons of talent in the NBA.
The Cavs as of this moment have the best player in the world, and then a huge drop off.

The next 2 of your Big 3 have 0 playoff experience.
Your team has little bench that aren't senior citizens.
Your team will struggle defensively.

Honestly, it could all come together, or it can become a mess.

First real evaluation should come at the all star break.

And the Bulls are 5-1 vs the Cavs in playoffs series. Talents isn't ever thing as we saw in the Spurs vs Heat and Mavs vs Heat. The Bulls is a much better team than before while Cavs are not as good as the 2011 Heat.

Keep thinking that man, Rose is so questionable if he goes down it's over. Even with him it is gonna be hard, y'all don't have enough scorers.

like i said-

even when Rose was healthy- LeBron played him 1 on 1 in Rose's MVP year and shut him down- he made him eat the basketball that whole series

Rose honestly shot like 30% and took a TON of shots- until Rose can do more than just drive to the basket and actually makes teams respect him from the otuside you can just pack the middle

its like LeBron was early in his career- but LeBron made the adjustment- the years LeBron was making the adjustment-Rose spent rehabbing his chronically injured knees



the Bulls have better outside shooting now with Mrotic, McDermmont, Dunleavy, etc.- but they still dont have that #2 scorer that you need in the playoffs to win a 7 game series against a contending team and it is what is going to be their downfall

Kevin Love being your SECOND option is just so amazing its not even funny - and with how clutch Kyrie is- and the fact that Kyrie can shoot the lights out or get to the hole- makes the Cavs completely and totally unpredictable and unguardable on offense


with Love we just matchup so amazing against the Bulls its not even funny-

the Cavs are just a matchup nightmare for the other team---- and we have the trump card that LeBron can guard the otherteams best player in crunch time


basketball is about talent and matchups- and the Cavs have both on the Bulls
