Washington over Cleveland?



I have been sipping the Wizkid Koolaid for 2 years.

But, there is little chance they finish ahead of the Cavs.

I see the Wiz/Heat/Hornets/Hawks all in the mix for seeds 3-6 with the Knicks/Raps/Kicks/Nets fighting for 7-8.

But, it should be crystal clear who the top 2 teams in the East will be.

The games aren't played on paper. Washington has their hierarchy set.

Cleveland has 3 #1 options and will need to figure out how to incorporate them together. I can see problems when Irving and Love's ppg drop.

Yes and No. What it really shows is how lucky Cleveland was with the lottery.

Yeah, but he could've gone back to Cleveland with a good group of players and raised their collective game creating a long lasting relevant team. That would've counted for something. Instead its another Big 3 with a relatively short shelf life by comparison based around Lebron's window.

the Cavs have to be the heavy favorites to make the finals

last time LeBron and Rose played in the Finals- Rose was coming off his MVP season- was fully healthy and Lebron made him eat the ball for those 5 short games



like i have been saying- until Rose develops a shot that a defender has to respect- guys will sag off him 3-4 feet and play him to drive---- and when a motivated LeBron is guarding you and knows what you are doing its game over.



Rose can do as many crazy dunks and layups and spin moves as he wants- until he can hit that 18 footer and shoot well from 3 when he needs to- the Bulls wont win- unless the Bulls get another high level offensive weapon- which is not Gasol at is current age

Sad. But, so.......

If they get KO'd by the Spurs or Bulls, which wouldn't be shocking to most, Lebron will be the punchline of many jokes and Kyrie/Love will be deemed overrated.

It's an unfair situation. But, that's what happens when you stack the deck and your fans crown you champs before Preseason even begins.

Lebron has never been exactly what I'd call " mentally tough ".

Lets see if he wilts under the pressure or rises to the occasion.

By far is a stretch. I'd say they are now on par with the Bulls (provided Rose is healthy).

I didn't know this was a 1 on 1 contest. Lebron is not on the Heat anymore and Chicago is a whole different team. In 2011, the only player on the Bulls that could stretch the floor was cold the whole series which allow the Heat to sag and help Lebron guard the paint. Now the Bulls added shooters so now when Rose goes to the paint and the Cavs help with their weak defenders then they would pay with McDermmott, Snell, Mirotic, Dunleavy, Hinrich, or Gasol draining a three. Don't act like Lebron is going to make everyone on the Cavs great defenders, who on the Heat did he help make a better defender, the Heat wasn't even in the top ten in defense last year.
