Long over Gabe jax and Nix

I think this is going to haunt me for a long time. I know anything could happen but this is why draft experts are calling the Long pick a reach if anybody is saying why Long is a reach. Hopefully Long will shut me up and be a factor this year and start for us in 2015 at RG. Best case he does so well that we cut Chester. Worst case he becomes another Ribeye.

Well I was reading walterfootball.com today and they were talking about Nix being one of the biggest steals of the draft. So hey we could have had him when Coefeld is 30 years old. Last week I was talking about the Gabe Jackson possibility not even thinking we could of had Nix. Oh well.

Personally, I would have taken Nix as well. That being said, I'm not going to dwell on the fact we didn't take who I wanted when "talking heads" were obviously wrong about him.

I personally feel Gabe and Nix would have made an bigger impact in their 2nd year than Long, and that's mostly due to position/injury history. But you never know with "potential"....Long may become a long term starter year 2.

The skins never use them anyway, even when Ribeye got to play and made a bunch of mistakes, Trent was there to assist him. Josh did ok, but those guys will never get better without oppurtunities....

I wouldn't be surprised if they are both cut. Chester and Long will be guards two and three. Plus you will have McGlynn who is the backup center who can also play guard. We only keep 8 olineman right?
