Kang is a descendant of Reed Richards, and he learns to time travel via Dr Doom's tech, so at least we got some kind of FF tie-in -nowhere near as much as I hoped, but ah well.
Seems like the easy way to introduce the fantastic 4 into the MCU

I have to wonder if it got pushed back to account for the Jonathan Majors scandal. Based on the post credit scene from Antman he was gonna be in season a 2 a good amount so maybe they needed some extra time to either cut out his scenes or film new ones.

They're changing up the release schedule. Instead of Wednesdays for new episodes, Loki will be on THURSDAYS.

Season 2 starts Oct 5th at 9pmEST.

Just like they did with Ahsoka on Disney+, no late night releases

I LOVE the 6 PM release schedule for Ahsoka.

I LOVE the 6 PM release schedule for Ahsoka.

It was always so dumb to do releases at 3amEST/12amPT. The vast majority of your audience isn't gonna see it until the next day and will constantly be avoiding engagement with people about it to avoid spoilers. Releasing it at a more reasonable, like an actual TV show time slot, gives a more routine community viewing experience

Interesting that they brought in spaghetti. Is that a random coincidence or is that a commonality used by both Marvel and DC in the comics?

Just finished ep1.

The spaghetti comment was jarring. But maybe that is a common explanation used in alt-timeline theory (string theory). I have a hard time believing it is just a coincidence. Flash has been out too long at this point.

OB is basically just a grown up Data. It would be kinda cool if they make some kind of reference at some point to that.

So, MCU Kang is not a descendant of Reed Richards, I take it…

Not my theory, but it has enough meat, I think, that it could be true…

Oroboros is the REAL Kang, while He Who Remains is just a patsy.

This solves MCU’s “Jonathan Majors problem” while handing the reigns to an actor who the nerds can really get behind.

They could go that way if they wanted. Given how many times Kang changed his appearance in the comics, its not really an issue and I don't see why its taking Disney so long to just recast Kang. The post-credit scenes from AntMan3 would look a little odd but who cares. Really, its that scene that doesn't make sense considering Loki already established that variants don't look alike yet every Kang variant looked the same
