It is a very good return on Seisay, receiving a 6th round draft pick.

I hope the kid does extremely well in the future. just not against us this year.

Im sure he is just on our team for depth I highly doubt he will become a superstar lol getting a 6th round pick for a player that was undrafted and signed to your team was good on your guys part

Mayhew could get a starter in return for that pick. When I say starter, I mean a.....

The 6th round pick this year Quandre Diggs will probably be a starter for us.

butt, butt, butt, the neysayers will disagree with you. It's Mayhew we're talking about.

Last year it was supposed to be the other midget CB. Than that dude got hurt and now it's another late round midget CB that is supposed to be the savior.

Lawson is still pretty good and can still win the job, but Diggs seems to be a little ahead going into camp. Nothing is guaranteed. The FA is still n te mix too.

Week 1 Lions board get together photo from last year at Dumars.

What about our 3rd rounder?

He is an outside guy. I would be surprised if they tried to put him in the slot. I am not sure what to make of him yet.

Even on this board, he doesn't seem to be getting any love. I think they'll try him at safety, but I'm guessing.

While I am not a fan of Mayhew. Lawson and Diggs were drafted as nickel corners, where they will be covering short, fast guys in the slot. Would you rather Mayhew draft a 6'3" CB to try and cover a midget slot WR?

Also -- if any team's "savior" is a nickel corner. They don't have much to be saved from, as the team must be terrible.

What about our 3rd rounder?

Hard to have anything good or bad to say about Carter, as we don't know much about him. He will probably only play if Slay or Mathis are injured or to give them a breather.

I'd love to knock Mathis, but all the guy has done is perform well since signing with the Lions. So I would guess Carter is going to be depth for the Lions at CB in 1st year.
