My thought during that last drive when Roullier got hurt was "you can't win the game because of the stupid 2 point decision and because of Slye .... now you lost the center for a meaningless drive."

Offensively they look good the first two weeks .... good D in the 1st half against Washington but 2nd half offense put up 4 TDs.

Lions have a very good offense, but probably the worst defense in the NFL. So I think decent might be a fair spot for them. As the season goes on teams will scheme the offense better and the defense will still be terrible, so I think they will end up worse than they are currently playing.

Some pieces there. Okudah looks like he might be the player we hoped when we took him at 3. I hope he stays healthy. Safeties are weak. Linebackers are the absolute worst. Our current starter almost had more missed tackles than the entire GB team last year.

Some pieces are there on defense, but still way too many holes to be competitive. It is not shocking, this is year 2 of a complete tear down, and the focused on offense first. It would be shocking if they had a good defense.

I had hoped, Campbell does seem to be the right coach. We will see long term though, Lions always find new ways to dissapoint the fans, even when we are completely dead inside.

Current fear is Goff plays just well enough to get an extension, putting a clear cap on how high the team can go.

He had many terrible throws in that game. If swift does not dig out his horrific throw, stand up and take it 22 yards I think this game ends differently.

Missed tackles and bad angles are not on the coaches they are on the players. Also busted coverages are on player communication not coaches. On that play there was a busted coverage but Mccain should of made the play anyways.

You are talking to someone who has coached for 20+ years. I call BS!!! Coaches have just as much responsibility for players not in correct positions, performing scheme set forth by said coaches, technique as it pertains to said tackling and proper angles. It all points to poor coaching.
