Clemmings not impressed with. IMO he has a hard time with speed. Ziggy could have a field day with him. He got ate up at senior bowl with speed ends.

Who says he is playing LT when they have top 5 pick Matt Khalil there. He will be moved into guard. They already have a RT as well.

I was reading of them moving the current RT to G. Khalil has not lived up to his billing at LT. So not sure how that OL really and out the fall. Could be more talk just like we saw about Reiff.

Now that was written by a Vikes beat writer long before Clemmings was taken. So have no clue what they do with personnel. Like I said it could be just Reiff fluff talk also...

But to ultimately judge that, you have to see the end result. Looks crazy to us as fans but good to them.

Imagine us about to pick in the 3rd round this year..... Then trading down into the 4th for basically nothing.

These scouts watch countless hours of film. Not just internet highlights of some player like we do. I will watch more film on guys I like, but not 15 different players at the same position like they do.

Are you serious right now? Do you know that scouting departments spend the entire year and then some doing nothing but scouting these guys? You probably want to do a little research about that.

Grady Jarrett gone

I liked Jarrett. With that said, my opinion of him or Clemmings means nothing though. Truly none are no better scouts then prolly 98% of the NFL ones. Those other 2 get fired every year.

I feel we as fans get frustrated when it is not our guy. You seem to like Jarrett, so I imagine if he was the pick in the 4th you may have viewed that trade different because he was a guy you liked.

Wow! I know I am late to the show, but I had to count to 10 (more like 100) before making a post.

They did almost exactly what I suggested by trading up with a pick from next year and selecting a DT and then I find out it is not my boy. Needless to say it was tough to watch as I was touting Jarrett for almost 2 months and had to witness this.

Even with my blind faith in Austin, I am having trouble processing this.
