Joe Bachie reveals what led to failed drug test

“The whole drug test situation, it was an over-the-counter pre-workout [supplement]. I took it one time, six days before I was tested and that’s how it failed,” Bachie said at the combine. “The appeal process went through. Three weeks later I got tested again when I found out I failed. Perfectly clean. Went to appeal to the B1G office and it didn’t go through.”

I think Quintricia saved their jobs this weekend. We’re also catching Chicago and Green Bay in transitional free falls. Division will come down to Lions and Vikes. If Fatty P can get the D back in into the top 10 like two years ago, it’s on like Donkey Kong.

I'm not sure about them having saved there jobs yet, but i'm with you on liking this draft a lot like the most since we drafted Suh. BQ is off my shit list for the rest of the weekend

I'd bet my last dollar they played for Millen, Marinelli and the "NFL," just not for Detroit.
I dont know what that means.
They got Millen fired a month into the season.

During the bye week of 2008, William Clay Ford and Millen still remained friends.

The Fire Millen Campaign started late in 2005 season just before playing at Lambeau (Lions got screwed out of a Safety and the Free Kick). Millen still got a five year contract extension even though the fan base was disappointed (FIRE MILLEN) in the way Millen was running the Organization into the ground.

Marinelli gets hired on in 2006 ...fire Millen, fire Millen chanting by the fan base until even the media got in on it. LOL... Marinelli got rid of Pro Bowler Dre Bly because he wasn't the "right personnel" just before the defense bottomed out at 32nd in 2007-08.

Okay, 2008... Marinelli was a mediator between Millen, the fan base and media. Four preseason wins before looking like shit in the regular season, Millen was oust due to the outrage. The following week two blatant calls by the officials in the forth quarter to help the Vikings win during Dan Orlovsky first start. With Millen out of the way the media and fan base turned their attention towards Joe Barry (Marinelli son-in-law) and the tampa2 defense, mostly. You had Dominic Raiola giving fans the middle finger (IIRC they were attacking his family too). Can't forget about the Reporter that used Marinelli daughter to attack Marinelli.

IMHO, the Lions will always be schedule fillers, overpaid actors, sandbaggers and do just enough to sell tickets until the NFL and Lions Organization gets their way. Cheesy!!!

NFL Draft Preview: Jeremiah Dinson

We flipped the page to 2018 and things returned to normal. Dinson began the campaign in the win over Washington with 7 tackles, 1.5 TFLs, a sack, and a pass breakup. Five weeks later he recorded 15 tackles and an interception in Starkville. It was safe to say that he’d returned. In two of Auburn’s most hotly contested games this past season, Dinson only recorded 13 tackles in the win over Oregon, and 15 in the slim loss at LSU. He finished the regular season with double digit tackles in the win over Alabama as well. In Auburn’s biggest games, he showed the will to rise to the top, and he finished the year as a Second-Team All-SEC performer and the highest-graded safety in the SEC.

Imo, Jackson should be seen as immediate starter over Dahl if he gets up to speed. Dahl's back injury might be more serious than what has been speculated.

I wasn't impressed with Chico's or Packs draft. The latter was atrocious, imo.

Bears now have 10 TE’s. If BQ did that our media would be a firestorm today.

Richie 2 is my new Lion. I hope he’s plugged in as a starter by years end.

NFL Draft grades: Assessing all 9 Detroit Lions picks

Stenberg’s mentality and brute force style brings some much needed toughness to the run game, but he’s no slouch in the passing game either. In 2018 and 2019, Stenberg gave up zero sacks on a total of 601 pass blocking snaps. I guess that’s pretty good.

BB_72: Damn, I love this pick more and more. He might become best value pick but Swift or Jackson or even Huntley could end up being that choice. Time will tell. Maybe he isn't day 1 starter at RG but he sure as hell should be over Benzschawel or Garnett

I'm with you on that thought but hoping it's by or before week 4 if not out of training camp.

Love that dudes demeanor. You got to watch some highlights on his play. It'll get you pumped for what could possibly be the Lions best OL in decades (Like back to early - mid 90's) possibly better (outlier will be the Hawaiian RT).

Decker LT
Jackson LG
Ragnow OC
Stenberg RG
Big V (not so excited there)

BB_72: competition he played against isn't a tell tale sign but 4.4 speed and ability to cut on a dime and COD is legit.
