At this point I am hoping lions packag the 2 3rds to move back up for Epenesa or Baun

I'm not a fan of Baun outside of him converting to WILL cuz he'll get his ass owned trying to be a Jack LB'er. jmo.

At this point I'd rather ride the shit show out and keep the picks.

Hope Epenesa makes it to #67 and that'll be the steal of the draft for the Lions

Im at work. Lol

Call me crazy, but I'm excited for Swift. When Bevell takes over as HC midway thru the year, the defense will still suck ass, but trying to outscore folks will be fun to watch. It'll be 2011 all over again. Assuming we get another receiver too.

I like Swift as RB, tbh.

But this defense sucks balls so bad it was idiotic to by-pass two pass rushers. Now, Epenesa is till around so the NFL knows more than I do. BQ has that going for him right at the moment.

Fuck these guys suck.
No defense.
Epensa or Matos were great values in the second round.
So hard to find pass rushers.
RB's are a dime a dozen.

Disagree, we’ve drafted a dime a dozen and they’ve all flopped. Not exactly excited for Swift, would rather had a DLine but I’m not upset either. Our running game has been the worst in the last 20 years. We need to get this fixed.

There goes Epenesa to the Bills.

That's a great defense.

LMFAO

KJ Hamler only dropped 18 of 68 catchable targets

You can Never change a WR's shitty hands and horrible focus drops

Better clean that up and make it correct before @Stomp catches me in a lie.

He coughed up 12 of 68 catchable targets this past season (17.6%) — far and away the highest rate of any top wideout this past season.

He still sucks. and can't win at the catch point.

I liked Hamler, but not at a 2nd round price :tsk: would have been a nice stretch the field guy even if his hands are horrible

Who is he going to run behind?
The career backup from the Eagles we paid 10 mil a year to?
Otherwise it's the same group of dudes who were bottom barrel run blockers last season.

someone brought their optimism hat tonight.
This is the Lions we are talking about right? They don't make smart decisions like that.
If the clowns get fired mid season. They are promoting the special teams coach in the most Lionsesque of moves.
You know me.... always the optimist.

I can understand the Okudah pick as I had him as only 1 of the 4 blue chip prospects in the class.
Passing on 2 solid DL prospects when you are bottom 5 in the league in sacks is just fucking ignorant.

Yep -- my buddy was happy with the pick and said we haven't had a consistent running game since Barry.

My argument is -- if we can stop anyone, we are going to have to throw the ball to catch up. Our first 4 picks should have been defense, defense, defense, defense. If we had traded for an extra 2nd round pick -- absolutely spend it on a RB to split carries with the RB you traded up for in the 2nd round 2 years ago.

Dillon in round 2?

I think Dillon will do well. Not sure he is worth a 2nd round pick, but that guy is a TANK. At 240+ lbs, he ran a 4.5 and had a 41" vertical.
He is a shorter version of Henry.
