It wouldn't be an ass clown move. How often do you get a chance to take one of the top QB prospects in the draft? Their trade value is off the charts. Even QBs who haven't proven anything.

And Stafford's cracked vertebrae doesn't give me a lot of confidence in his long term durability.

If any team drafts Pittman in the 1st round kudos to them.

I wouldn't begin to look at him as a value pick until 3rd round.

I've seen quite a few media pundits push him into late 1st round but more so in the last 5-6 picks of 2nd round into mid 3rd round.
