Well, here it is. Open w 3 of the first 4 on the road.

I think we can win at SD but the next 3 are brutal. Vikings defense is elite. So is Broncos. Then at SEA in week 4? Holy sheep shit.

Why can't you watch it? ''The game''

it was more me noticing that other than national televised games, you don't get to see the Lions all that much up in Minnesota...

it wasn't anything personal

No orthodontists?

High end smoke detector-detectors?

Clueless fans in attendance?

Do overs on field goals?

Mike Smith is a maroon?

Waking up drunk cuz it's so freaking early?

Hail Marys to Golden Taint?

Rain?

The Chunnel?

That's all I got.

I like the 9:30 game time, and I'd rather play a road game in London rather than at Arrowhead. That will be one of the games I expect them to win.

1-4 or 0-5 is entirely realistic. If the Lions come out of the first 5 weeks with 2 wins, it will be considered a huge success.

Doc hates the Lions as much as I do, until I do, then he loves them. Maybe hating them is just an act?

No, its genuine. I've never come at your posts in hating on the Lions, but when they reach the level of delirium as your prime time game theory I choose to comment. On this board I feel pretty confident I might get called out if I suggested something of equal insanity such as that I invented the comma.

The 2012 Lions were coming off a playoff season for the first time in forever, and offered a high powered offense (which is what the NFL very clearly favors and wants) is why they finally started getting some non-thanksgiving games. Suh was certainly a contributing member to that playoff team, as he was last year, so he played a part, but that's the extent of it.

Showcasing DT's is not in the NFL's plan when they create the prime time schedule. If it was the Dolphins would have gotten several more games as his movement to them was the #1 free agent change of the offseason and him being in a different uniform should otherwise of been of great interest. The NFL just loudly said its not.

Agree to disagree. Lions joke of sports until Suh came along. 0 games since 05, a bunch once he was on board. The numbers don't lie.

I'm moving on from his petty debate.

Move along..

I proved you wrong. They had tons of prime time games w Watt. You said they didn't. Stick to arguing w TP.

Show me where I said they didn't have prime time games. My statement was -- IF Suh was the player responsible for the Lions increase in prime time games -- Houston would be on every other week because of Watt.

I'm still waiting to hear if giving up 24-25 points is a successful season for the Lions defense for the upcoming year?

Rob (not gandy :) ),
I'm still waiting to hear if giving up 24-25 points is a successful season for the Lions in the upcoming season? I have a feeling you are ignoring this question, because I pointed out, WITH SUH, that is what the Lions defense gave up over a 4 year period.

Sorry, didn't see it. What other factors are you using?

Suh is an All Pro, dominating all interior lineman stats for the past 5 years. Not his fault Mayhew surrounded him with junk for the majority of it. Obviously he made the whole defense better..

Every other week? I showed you how Houston blew up with prime time games once they got Watt, just like the Lioms did. Just admit you're wrong and let's move on.

If the Chargers trade for Mariotta, that makes week 1 look a little more winnable.
