Texans have had 12 prime time games since JJ Watt was drafted. Including 5 in Watt's sophomore year, and four more in 2013. They had 10 total in the 8 years before that. Very similar to the Lions, before blowing up prime time w Suh.

Thanks for proving my point. Fans want to see true superstars. Not average QBs.
One of those years they were my AFC pick for the Super Bowl. Got to see them enough in night games to realize why I was wrong.

Did I just see the Suh-less Lions get a bunch of prime time games?

In fact, it looks to me like we got more games with Suh not on the roster than we ever did when he was here.

Yep! Look at the two back-to-back prime time games.

Wrong again, Lewand. Lions had 5 in 2012. Are you counting the Thanksgiving game and London game?

Well, we all knew the scheduled teams was going to be brutal. Now seeing who they are playing on the road. Brutal is a soft word to use.

Brutal?? This is the 11-5 Lions. They'll be fine.

I bet were the only team who starts twice before 1pm Eastern. (1 bottle of 10W30 Valvoline Synthetic.)

Is that a good thing? Can I consider the Lions on a European winning streak yet? Do we have Jim Nantz for any games?

And if they're planning on opening the season with Bell being the number one, I'm worried.

the Texans were an expansion team in 2002, so what exactly did you prove? That people don't want to watch an expansion team in nationally televised games until they are established? if so, i agree.

I'm still waiting to hear if giving up 24-25 points is a successful season for the Lions defense for the upcoming year?

Yes, on paper 2-3 or 3-2 would almost be a good start there. Anything thing better, awesome!

Most teams have a brutal stretch at some point. Glancing at the Phins rough little stretch Oct. 29th and on.

24-25 Pts a game with a winning season... Sure

Same points given up while only scoring 17 a game and being 4-12 like years past. Nope.

Comes down to W-L for me. Most important stat to me, and to think PFF is not needed for those stats.

They also had Andre Johnson and at the time considered the best Johnson and a stout run game.

The Dolphins some how get a wild card this year, I imagine they may also get some prime time love in 2016.

I don't know Shoktart, what games are you counting in 2012, cause I see five that includes the Thanksgiving game. SF, CHI, GB, ATL + HOU. I don't see another prime time match up that year.

What I do see this year is DEN, SEA, GB, and NO in prime time plus the London game and the Turkey day game.

I see the Dolphins with Suh didn't get even close to the exposure the Lions got without him. Or do you think I got that wrong too? That doesn't really support your point as you suggested in a prior post now does it?

I proved you wrong. They had tons of prime time games w Watt. You said they didn't. Stick to arguing w TP.

You're a nut. You spend your life on here ripping the Lions apart, but once I say anything, you're all over me, flexing for your crew. Poser shit.

Correct. The average football fan these days are mostly fantasy football nerds. They do not tune in to watch defense.
Many of us in Seattle have learned to adore the destruction, the power, and the beauty of playing solid D.

Even with a rookie RB, Bell would be the starter week 1.
