Agreed.

We have the tools to go 7-3 with Zona coming to town. I see Atlanta like Carolina a few years ago.

There a team that we can kick their ass but they are good at using our 1 weakness against us.

Rams at 9 is tough too because they always ALWAYS seem to have our number

If we go 3-2 in that streak and One of those losses is against those 2. Were going to the post season,

But flipping the question back to you Sharkie...............

Let's say we go to the 14 team dance. Do we have the team that can land the hottest girl?

Dunno about the hottest grill.. but what I will say is the Weber Genesis is still one of the best grills in terms of heat and grilling power.

Now that said, Cuisinart is making a play in the portable grill market so that's something to consider. Hopefully we get sponsored by one of them.

Should be a good season, Fudge.

Could be much worse pending Geno's injury's to hip and knee.

Yah...

From what reports are saying Howell has been significantly behind Geno in TC and offseason. It's not even close.

That said, reports are saying Smith should be able to return within the next week or so (Mac is quoted "optimistic" from various articles). It sounds like either way he'll be ready to go for regular season. I get it's a new offensive system, but Geno is not a rookie or some young guy. I'm not concerned about him picking up Grubb's scheme... and the player personnel maybe outside of some lineman is the EXACT same as last year... so he doesn't need to get familiar with anyone.

If anything to be honest, I'd rather let Howell get some snaps with the first string team... see if there's anything there.

I don't work for the NFL and have never coached so my opinion is worth a grain of salt and I'm likely undervaluing even a veteran QB getting snaps in TC (whether with a new OC or not), but I think Geno will be fine and I like the idea of trying to coach up Howell. Howell got a lot of attention from teams during the offseason and we gave up meaningful resources... he's a hard worker from what I've read. It's good to get him reps while we can.

Sounds like they expect Geno to be back this week. I doubt he was going to play next weekend anyway.

Good to hear Geno will be fine. Maybe shutting him down for a week could do him well and let Howell take the reps since he seems to be doing awful.
