A few things. First, the Raiders at some point had character? I'm not being facetious, I'm really asking. Second, I get Rob wanting to follow Suh and the Dolphins, it's comparing the 2 teams and shitting on the Lions that works people up. And 3rd, 100% agree that it's an indictment on the Lions, from ownership down, that we haven't lost any great players to free agency. Kind of a gut punch when you think about that.

The Raiders were the original Bad Boys. When everyone was on the Steelers nuts in the AFC the Raiders were the only team that would stand and punch them in the mouth. Sometimes literally, and I hated the Steelers. Thats probably why I liked the Raiders in the first place.

Upshaw and Shell the greatest Left side of theO-Line in the history of the NFL IMO. Loved the way Al Davis, pre senile, thumbed his nose at the NFL.
