That's the problem! No way do I want them to go DE in the first or second round. Just sign Willie!

EXACTLY.. After Clowney the drop-off to the next 4-3 DE is more than Significant. Maybe Anthony Barr, then it's Kony Ealy later on in 1st round or Scott Crichton, Trent Murphy in the mid 2nd round, then all the way to 4th round prospects UNC DE Kareem Martin or Vir Tech DE James Gayle... not a lot to like but some have potential. I was hoping Willie would come cheap on a 3 yr deal at most. You cannot blame him pursuing $$$. Gus Bradley could very well use him as a LEO rusher like Seattle uses Bruce Irvin and at times Cliff Avril

CBS has a report saying the Broncos are confident about landing DeMarcus Ware today as well. That would be a nice haul to add to their defense. TJ Ward, Aqib Talib and DeMarcus Ware.

Man -- Tampa Bay adds Michael Johnson at DE and Alterraun Verner at CB. Not too shabby, when you put them together with Gerald McCoy, Lavonte David, Mark Barron, Adrian Claiborne. TB's defense should be pretty darn good next year.

I guess it is addition by subtraction. Cut Revis and add Johnson and Verner for less money than they would have owed Revis.

ummmm WOW -- the Saints give Jarius Byrd a 6 year 58 million dollar contract with 28 million guarantee and if i'm not mistaken, they were one of the 4 teams with less cap spaces than the Lions.

I'm guessing somewhere -- Jimmy Graham is cussing and spitting at his TV, especially since Denver signed TJ Ward for 4 years 23 million and he was the 2nd best safety on the market.

Looks like Mayhew is serious about adding a FB, we brought Henry Hynoski in for a visit today.

As far as traditional, lead-blocking FBs go, this guy is a beast at 6'1" and 266lbs.

I'm not crazy about FBs overall, but if Lombardi wants one for his offense, this guy is a helluva option...

It seems like everyone and their brother wants to sign to play with Manning, so I wouldn't be surprised if Lewis came out of retirement. :laugh3:

If they get DeMarcus Ware, even though he isn't as dominating as he was -- Pairing him and Von Miller on the outside would give the Broncos quite a pass rush, especially with guys like Shaun Phillips, Robert Ayers and Derek Wolfe too.

I would want to play defense with the best qb of all time too. Its just unfortunate he cant figure it out in the big game. He should turn to his brother for tips. Not saying it was all peytons fault last year, but he is the MVP and deserves a large share of the blame.

Lions are bringing in S James Ihedigbo for a visit. I don't really mind him, but he's getting up there in age and is definately not a permanant solution at that position. I would not mind signing Ihedigbo for a 2 yr deal, but also drafted Clinton-Dix in the 1st rd.

On Pro Football Focus, Ihedigbo was ranked 16th in the NFL at safety in 2012. He was on about the same level as Glover Quin from a blitzing standpoint, putting him sixth in the league in that department. And against the run, only T.J. Ward was better. Against the pass, however, Ihedigbo was all the way down at 73rd in the league.
