Anybody else feel like Giroux/Voracek and Schenn/Simmonds both need to be kept together for the foreseeable future?

I see more chemistry with those two pairs than with anyone else on the team.

All I know is that G and DB don't seem to be jiving so I like things as is. But what do you do with read when he's back? Couturier seems to be the best option. They can score and play D.

I put Read back on the G line. Those three were looking scary good together.

Hartnell G Voracek
Schenn Briere Simmonds
McGinn Couturier Read
Energy guys.

Alternatively, just put Voracek on every line and ride him into the ground until he cools down.

I REALLY like our top 9 forwards once they heal up. They just need to get some consistent line pairings and wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

Yep I like those lines a little bit of everything on each one. Couturiers line will have to be able to play some D though but Reads more than capable plus they can score!

I think the 4th line can be effective as well.

Agreed. The injuries hurt us short term and help us long term. With everyone healthy, the depth is tremendous at forward. Read can hold his own on the top line, but those spots are already spoken for with Hartnell healthy. With the speed and skill that Voracek brings to the table, he could make things happen on any line right now.

I liked the idea of having Knuble back at first until i saw him play and now i wonder who;s idea it was to bring him back because obviously they didn watch him skate prior to the signing

Ah, imo it was a low risk move. It is what it is. It was worth taking a shot at him while Hartsy was out.

Whats our lines for tonight?

based on the talk that wellwood is probably a scratch.. i'd think couturier gets a shot at the forsberg (between gagne and knbule), talbot down to the 4th with fedetenko and rinaldo, top two lines the same
