If they haven't rescinded the tag yet then they definitely have plans for him.

I just hope it isn't something as stupid as splitting carries with Conner. Conner has earned the starting role. Even if Bell is the highest paid backup in the league, he still should remain a backup unless Conner gets injured. Steelers likely made that decision by now since they didn't get a trade done. It's ugly but it is what it is.

Giving Bell half the offense will just mess with the winning formula. And they can't afford to stumble at this point. Colbert & Tomlin should both get fired if they do that & fail enough to miss the playoffs.

Well, I meant in the context of the game in Jacksonville. I don't think he'd be game ready enough to use him yet, especially with a new OC (new to Bell) this year. At least if the Steelers FO was smart.
