I had a countdown on my whiteboard for the number of wins to get to .500. The skid started around when I put it up. I took it down after yesterday's game and replaced it with a "No Hope Zone" sign.

I have absolutely no hope that will change the Pirates' luck.

Man, Correia is really in control tonight. He's looked really impressive. I hope this is the Correia we get for the rest of the season. Or at least something close. That would be a huge boost.
