Nope, not at all. I never thought we would get more than 3 years of decent or better production from him. Once I found out about the bat speed declining the year before we got him I was even more against it. I was just as must against the Choo signing.

So you wanted/expected 3 years of productivity? But you said you were surprised we got anything out of him last year. Since we got nothing out of him the first year, and you expected nothing last year, then this trade was a travesty. Right?

Or are you basing this on this after his injury was diagnosed?

As far as Choo, I loved getting him. The cost concerned me then, like now, is all. But I still think we're gonna be OK with this acquisition.

No, I said I never expected anything out of him past this year. I was against the trade before I knew anything had been wrong with him physically the year before. If I had known that I would have been even more against it.
