You should look at the Cowboys futures odds every year.
Exactly correct, Lakers are no different. Futures betting is a total different animal. Vegas knows the fans of every team and sets it accordingly.

What should Portland want in a trade for dame? Quality players or draft picks?

Picks and young quality players to build with.

What they should not want is a collection of good players.

Expectations for Portland assuming they don't trade Dame?

IMO 6-8 seed and obviously eliminated in round 1

Nobody that would want Lillard

And nobody Lillard would want to go to...they'd have to give up much of what would make them attractive in the first place.

If he decides he wants out and/or the Blazers decide to move him, the first thing they'll have to do is accept that they aren't going get full value for him...then they'll likely still have to get a 3rd team involved.

But then they would also have to be ready to contend…no point in trading and then just a 7 or 8 or non-playoff team. That is hard to find but doable….no team comes off the top of my head that can offer all that. If Lillard were to force his way out is probably the only way that sort of trade happens…Harden kind of deal. A ton of picks (3 or 4 team deal) with a veteran and couple young players.

That 2012-2015 top 10 picks run was nasty.

2012- Thomas Robinson
2013-Ben Mclemore
2014- Nik Stauskas
2015- Cauley-Stein

how can you ignore the train wreck that was 2016

they had to trade down from 7 because no lottery pick would send them their medicals or work out for them

I forgot about that lol. This franchise is such a disaster.

Granted they done a decent job with picks the last few years finally

Im still wondering why they took Mitchell when they have two smallish young pgs on the roster already

that was one of the more low key epic things you’ll ever see. It was a draft class mutiny
