Kobe in his prime and last championship in 2010 was 27.9 ppg 5.4 rpg and 4.7 apg and 47% fg

Lebron was 27.1 ppg 6.0 rpg 7.4 apg in his last championship ring

So considering Kobe at his best vs Leboring at her best, Kobe was higher in points and pretty damn close, but Leboring was worse in free throws with 71% and Kobe was 84% so there are two stats that Kobe was better.

So if he was drafted by a powerhouse team put up these same numbers and won more rings with the exact same numbers suddenly he would be better because he played on a better team with better teammates?

Or how about in the kobe instance put up WORSE stats but had a better team somehow makes him better?

Kobe never quit in the finals and never gave up - Lebron did several times. In his first appearance in the Olympics both Lebron and Wade deferred to Kobe because they had that much confidence in him. No if you want to go by stats on the appearance of each one in his best finals vs best and legitimate comparisons - that's going to give you a better idea and I concede that as an athlete, Leboring is a stronger, healthier and faster, but Leboner has never had the mentality, ball iq and killer instinct that Kobe had and He's never been the closer in the games. There are reasons that up till Kobe slowed down, most coaches would have deferred to Kobe for the last shot and not Lebrong

Really?!? So Lebron didn't go to a stacked team in Miami? Lebron had the most stacked team in the league for 4 years and could only go 2-2 in the finals. Thank God for Ray Allen or he'd be 1-3.

Also, when Shaq left and the Lakers were trying to rebuild around him, Kobe stayed and won 2 more titles. Lebron has jumped ship twice to try and stack the deck in his favor and has gone 2-3.

You can compare year to year on basketball reference...look at kobes best vs lebrons best

Most important stats are win share, PER, fg%, PPS and defensive rating

Kobe had a prime shaq(better than any teammate lebron ever had)....Take that away and he has 2 rings just like lebron(with much worse stats in every category) and that is all he ever would have had...they both have 2 finals mvps...shaq won all 3 in LA

Lebron even has a better clutch last shot % lol
