Gotta say congrats to the Lakers crew on here. I had him pegged to Philly with all their cap space and chances to trade for Kawhi.

Gonna be a great rivalry between the Lakers and the Celtics. I dont imagine its happens this year but I feel lebron has one more big year into the finals ahead.

I just realized KCP is the new Tristan Thompson aka the guy who might not be worth the money but is represented by Lebron's company that you have to pay it if you want to have Lebron

LeBron is on a long term deal.

And even he won't be able to object to the Lakers allowing KCP on walk in favor of Kawhi next summer

apparently Lebron doesnt realize when a players goes out west he is kind of forgotton about by half the country. kinda like how everyone has forgotton about robby cano since he left the yankees for the mariners

Well, A couple big problems there.

1) cano plays baseball, and fewer people care about baseball
2) LA isn't Seattle
3) cano isn't the best player in the league, or even all that good anymore
4) Cano is suspended for half the season for PED use

In other words, there are many reasons to forget Cano. I will go out on a limb and say that ain't happening to LeBron.

Well...the suspense is over...LJ has made his call.

This LAL move does speak a few things...notably, with his signing coming after Paul George decided to stay in OKC, maybe they get Leonard, maybe they don't, LAL as built might be the 3rd or 4th best team in the west...it appears he's ready to wind it down and his family wants to be in SoCal on a full-time basis.

That said seeing a few of the posts...I'm not sure if any superstar in the NBA had ever taken as much flak as this guy has...personally I thought PHI was the best spot to chase one more ring, but I don't care where he plays. At one time I think LJ wanted to be universally "liked" , but has wised up and said, I'm going to do me and fuck what fans think.

Can't blame him on that end.

It will also be harder for Lebron to get the finals now since he is in the West. In the east he was a sure thing in the finals cause the east is so weak but in the West you got a lot of contenders he is going to have to battle to get there

From all the reports I'm seeing....it seems like once LeBron signed with the Lakers, all leverage the Spurs had vanished. Now no team wants Kawhi and if they do, there's no way the Spurs are getting equal value back for him.

We might be stuck with this fucker.
