lebron back to miami?

I can't believe this is getting all this play either. They're friends. Lebron had some time off and wanted to visit an old friend, big deal.

yah its just crazy....

the thing is- when you have LeBron- and then also two other high profile guys in Kyrie and Love- shit is always going to be a big story. I think Kyrie Irving said something really intelligent the other day when they were questioning about the Stephen A reports about him wanting to leave Cleveland- he said somethign to the effect of- its just his turn this week to be the one every go's after-- whether its LeBron or Love or whatever.

In January of last year there were SOOO MANY national reports that there was no chance Kevin Love was coming back to Cleveland- and he signs a 5 year max deal.....Kyrie Irving was "supposed" to leave Cleveland on the first thing smoking- according to PLENTY OF FUCKING IDIOTS- instead - he signs a 5 year max deal.

The truth is- if Golden State was just REALLY good- and on pace for 65 wins instead of 73 or whatever- it doesnt even matter--- how good Golden State has been has put a magnifying glass on the Cavs and distorted the actual reality of the situation.....

but the media has to have stories so we get stuff like this that stays in the news cycle for a few days- maybe a week- and then goes awy until the next story.

Cleveland is fully married to LeBron at this stage and if there is a divorce, it will be LeBron who gets the house, cars, and bank account.

No franchise, IMO, is going to pay LeBron full max to come and be at their franchise at 32+ years old. Not to say LeBron isn't good, but he is aging, and he has proven he can not stay committed to a team for long term. IF he does go to another team it would be his 4th team in his career.

LeBron is also a headache to head coaches, clearly showing his stats with Cavalier head coaches. I am sure if there was any other GM in Miami then Riley, Spoelstra would have been fired after the Heat lost to the Mavericks in the NBA finals.

So you tell me, what franchise is going to pay a 32+ year old full max, who has a history of jumping teams without hesitation, has ran several coaches out of town, has caused much headache for GM's and owners, and all in all, can't get the job done by just himself and needs all-stars around him to get the job done. So if you pay him max contract, expect to may big money for a few other big name players, because if you don't, well LeBron will probably be moving on shortly claiming you're not invested in winning.

9 months ago LeBron had a Finals Performance where there was a push for him to be MVP ON THE FUCKING LOSING TEAM.

Every single team in the league that has the cap room would offer him as much money as they possibly could when he is 32 years old.

DeMar DeRozan is going to get 25 million this offseason. Dwight Howard is going to get close to 30 million- and hes not much younger than LeBron. Teams would be BATTLING to get just a CHANCE to pay James a max contract of about 30 million a year. AL FUCKING HORFORD is going to get 25 million a year. Michael Conley. Teams will consider themselves LUCKY to get a meeting with James just to have the chance to give him a max contract WELL into his 30's. If there was NO salary cap like in baseball LeBron James EASILY makes 50 million a year- probably more. He has not lost an Eastern Conference playoff series since 2010. LOL.

I didn't read the article but Lebron working out with Wade is being made a big issue because players on opposing teams just don't get up and go workout with their buddy on another team when their team is off fora few days during the season. Its odd but he's not coming back to Miami

Exactly. I get that a lot of these guys are friends, but you don't see guys flying to another city to workout with their friend on another team in the middle of the season. Also, if Lebron doesn't want people commenting and/or asking about it, he probably shouldn't be posting it on social media.

I do no think LeBron is going back to Miami, but I would not be shocked in any way if he left Cleveland.

Wade is his boy, but their games don't really compliment one another well. The crazy theory out there that actually makes sense is LeBron and Durant both to LA. Lakers would have no shot at one without the other, but I actually think they could have a decent chance to land both with Kobe off the books. Those two would be a fit made in heaven, and could instantly make the Lakers a top 3 team.

Extremely highly doubtful. As in, never going to happen. Another theory that has been floated out there that also isn't going to happen is KD signs a 2 year contract with a player option after 1 with the Lakers, then re-signs for a super max the following season and the Lakers get Westbrook in 2017 free agency.

I also disagree that they can't get KD without Lebron. I don't think they get either one, but I think there's a much better chance of getting KD than getting Lebron and no chance that they get both (although I wouldn't mind being wrong).
