He wasn't flawless because his fumble did lead to an easy Bills TD and likely took at least 3 points off the Ravens' board but he did play well enough to win and for once I wouldn't put the blame on him for this playoff loss.
I'm not ready to put the loss on Lamar. But he had the opportunity to change the narrative and he failed. Again. Yes he brought them down the field at the end, but the 2 pt conversion was not for the win it was only to tie. And it was his turnovers that played a big part in making that last minute drive just to tie necessary and that can't be overlooked.

Agreed - I don't put it all on Lamar, but everyone focusing on just Andrews is just ignoring that Lamar's play led to that sequence being uber important. He had a fumble. He had an INT. For most of the game, he looked like every other post-season Lamar Jackson when passing the ball.

It wasn't until Buff decided to play some dumbass defense to prevent 1 big play that allowed him 1000 seconds to throw the ball and wait for someone to get open that he finally started making some throws. So, while he had that great drive in crunch time - he was really just "meh" the other 58 minutes of the game (or however minutes they were actually on offense).

I hate the Ravens as much as any red-blooded American, but this is a ridiculous take. Yes, Lamar had two turnovers in the 1st half, but his 2nd half play was more than adequate to make amends for those mistakes. Save for the Andrews mistakes, the Ravens pretty much owned the 2nd half of that game.

Yeah but the game is 2 halves not just one, and they both count. You can't overlook how he played in the first half that left them in a hole they were forced to try to climb out of. While he did play great in the 2nd half the TD drive that cut the lead to 2 was mostly Hill and Henry.

While he did not lose the game again this was his chance to change the narrative and his 2 turnovers, one that was potentially a 10 point swing in a 2 point loss, played a huge roll in yet another loss.

Mahomes, Burrow, Allen and Lamar all have what it takes to get their team to a Super Bowl. Problem is there's only one AFC slot each year.

(Nix and Stroud might crash that party soon, too.)
This is the real issue. The top of the QB heap in the AFC is very strong and scary to think it could get stronger.
Then guys like Herbert, Tua and Lawrence will never reach this status but will be lurking around for the next few years.

And the bottom of the barrel in the AFC are the Jets, Patriots, Steelers, Browns, Colts, Titans and Raiders. Unless one of them find lightning in the draft there isn't hope for any of those teams. (NOTE: Every single one of those teams would love to have Lamar)

A serious troll attempt would've been Harbaugh instead of Lamar.
100% If he didn't chase that 2 pt conv earlier in game, xtra pt ties it. Now there was over a minute left, so not a given. A fumble and dropped 2 pt conv by Andrews, loss way more on him than Lamar. It took Peyton how many years before he started winning the big games too, Lamar is a balller for sure. And never throws his teammates under the bus, like an Aaron Rodgers

Right?

Harbaugh/Lamar will be right back in the position to crack through again next year. Will they? Who knows. The AFC is a juggernaut.

Lamar's career has coincided with the overlap of the two GOATs at the QB position. He isn't the only one not to break through.
