Yeah he is clearly the reason andrews cost them a possible OT
Andrews with a wideopen dropped pass.....
Andrews with a 13 yard first down catch in Buffalo territory ends up fumbling it away.....
Andrews with game tying 2 point conversion drop while being open......

Ya,trade a back to back mvp player going for his 3rd straight mvp.....that's what I'd do......

So by that thinking,Mahoney knocks out Buffalo next weekend, they may as well trade off Allen........

I actually feel bad for Andrews.....guy has been a big bright spot for their team since he arrived, and then to have a disappointing game like that sucks.......

If there is something more lame than people picking and choosing narratives, I haven't seen it. Then doubling down on "always being right" just makes those clown shoes fit a little better.

Quite possibly the greatest regular season QB in history.

Can't win when it really matters.

He is still ridiculously young at 28 years old, and has to have huge trade value.

Should the Ravens punt and reset?

If the goal of any franchise is to win a Super Bowl, I just can't see how Baltimore gets it done with Lamar as their QB.
This take is retarded

Let's see, the Ravens go 12-5 in the regular season, beat the Steelers in round one and lose to the Bills by 2 points on the road.

You want to get rid of one of the best QBs in the league, as if that will somehow make it better. Well, you're right about one thing, he would have tremendous trade value. The question is where would you get another QB anywhere near as good?

A Tomlin thread could've done numbers.

The majority of Steeler fans I know have become almost apathetic To Tomlin and the way the Steelers conduct business in general. They'd like to see a more balanced approach benefitting the offense more than it presently does.

A couple of em say if they got their OL issues worked out the Steelers might do some thangs other than going 1 n done in the playoffs. If I could add as tibbit I'd say stop drafting head cases at the WR position.

He wasn't flawless because his fumble did lead to an easy Bills TD and likely took at least 3 points off the Ravens' board but he did play well enough to win and for once I wouldn't put the blame on him for this playoff loss.

Weren't we having a similar conversation around 2005-6 about a certain guy who couldn't get over the hump? Narratives like this are dumb AF. I guess it's easy to forget how much of a team sport football really is.

Other than the early mistakes he played pretty well. Tough environment yesterday Allen didnt exactly light up the yardage either.

Lamar does seem like this generations Peyton Manning in a weird way.

Lamar was hardly the reason they lost that game.

I agree. They should ship that bum to the Vikings for a 5th round draft pick and just move on as it clearly isnt working and he is the reason for that.

Id have to blame part of that play on the snap that was way too high,it took the whole play away.....
By the time Lamar was able to get his composure back, the def lineman were on him.....
Could Lamar have just tucked the ball away, sure, but that's not him.......

Lamars first half kinda sucked, but he had help with that......

I do think its worth mentioning that the Bills in general cause turnovers and take care of the ball.

Bills had by far the best turnover margin in football this year with +24. 2nd place was +16 and third place was +12. Its what they do. Bills were also 8-0 at home.

Ravens had by far the best offense in terms of efficiency. Running up and down the field is what they do. The game kinda played out like you would expect. I still kinda have the impression that if Zay Flowers was in there the Ravens win this game 7 out of 10 times and everyone is talking about Lamar.

Yeah, this should be in the other thread. Just thinking about next weeks matchup. Chiefs take advantage of mistakes and Bills dont make them. 2 most conservative teams battling it out in the AFC trying to wait for the other team to screw up.

I was surprised that the Ravens almost tied it despite all turnovers. Clearly the weather effected the Ravens much worse than the Bills. It's part of the game and that's why they lost but it's not a valid reason to trade Lamar and break up the Ravens. That's just plain stupid.

The answer is no.

BUT...I don't think the Ravens are going to win the Super Bowl with him. He'll have at least a few more chances to prove that wrong.
