lol...."besides shooting"

thats a little like

besides shooting- john wall is better than Steph Curry at every facet of the game...

well...lucky for Steph Curry and Kyrie Irving- SHOOTING IS PRETTY important in basketball.

kyrie is a much better ball handler, passer, doesnt turn the ball over as much- and of course- and is a great 3 pt. shooter as opposed to Wade who is helpless from 3. Wade OF COURSE- much much better - insanely better defensively- at least in his prime.

We have yet to see Kyrie's prime. Should be interesting. We do know he can go off for 40 in a Finals game or hit a shot with the clock winding down in Game 7, or win the FIBA Tourney MVP, or start for the Gold Medal team, or be one of the youngest all stars in NBA history etc. etc.

Kyrie has a LONG way to go in his career- and a long way to go before comparisons can be made as to a full career with Dwayne Wade.

Wade has 3 titles right? 1 Finals MVP....

I can see Kyrie doing better...he has a helluva start.

if the Cavs and Dan Gilbert are not willing to eat $40 million of Baron DAvis' salary for the lotto pick that became Kyrie IRving, is LeBron James still in Miami?

i think that is a possibility...would be very interesting to know more.

Utterly ridiculous.

When LeBron signed in Miami, he and Wade were 2 of the top 3 players in the league. Wade started declining the year they won their second title, but everyone knows who LeBron's best playing partner was, and it isn't Irving.
Wade in 2012 apparently didnt even play enough games to qualify - i was looking for him on the points list and didnt find him.

His 2012 playoffs were quite a bit worse than his 2011 playoffs- however- that is partly understandable due to the fact LeBron lost his balls in 2011 and WAde tried to pick up the pieces- and in 2012 Wade took a back seat.

2013 is when the numbers really start to fall though i dont think lebron started to seriously lose confidence until after 2014.

Kyrie's playoff run in 2016 is absolutely better than WAde's in 2012.

Curry has one of the strangest career paths out of any NBA player ever.

Its just so strange for a guy to kind of come out of nowhere to win 2 straight MVP's like that....I mean- he was obviously a good player before that- but no one would have put him in their top 20 and if they said they would have they are lying.

He reminds me of a 1 hit wonder in the music industry, it comes out of nowhere and lasts for a year or two before dying down

please dispute the fact that LeBron has ever gotten more help than what Kyrie did this year for him. And the amazing thing is- he is doing this and the kid has not even hit his prime yet.

you seriosuly think Dwayne Wade was at his peak in 2012? cmon dude...

Yes he was still at his peak in 2012. He didn't start to go downhill until the following season.

You do realize that reason Kyrie put up those numbers is because he had to. Wade did what was asked out of him in every finals except for 2014 vs the Spurs. In 2011 he put up amazing numbers vs Dallas but LBJ failed him. If the Cavs role players played how they did leading up to the finals, Kyrie would not have needed to put up those numbers. To answer your question, Lebron never really needed Wade to do what Kyrie did for him this year because the Heat were never a two man show in the finals. They had role players who they would be able to depend on so it wasn't necessary for LBJ and Wade to avg nearly 60 PPG in order to win.

I see Wiggy's continuing to try to downplay Wade's accomplishments. We'll forget that the Cavs couldn't even sniff the playoffs when Irving was the alpha on those teams. Wade and Lebron had no problems leading their respective teams to playoffs on a consistent basis. But that will probably ruin the narrative, do continue, Wigs.

Curry became a top 20 player 2 years before he won his 1st MVP. Please let's stop acting like Steph was some shitty player until 2014-2015 NBA season

Yes, because after all, there is nothing else involved in basketball. No defense, no passing, nothing. Just shooting. :L

Yeah.....took one of the most pathetic franchises and helped bring them to championship status. The Dubs were a 6th seed when they lost to the Clippers. I'm curious to know what Curry did at 28.

He also took them to a 2nd round hard fought series with the Spurs the year prior to losing to the Clippers in 7

Shut up, Bk. That doesn't fit the narrative that lebronigarggleonhischildrenjuicejames was trying to bring up.

Curry been in the league 7 years. His team made the playoffs the last 4 years and he made it to the 2nd round or further in 3 of those 4 years

Steph was out here dropping 44 on the Spurs in game 1 of the 2nd round back in 2013 but Wiggy wants to act like he came out of nowhere before winning the MVP in 2015.

He was out here doing this to the Nuggets in the previous round of 2013 playoffs vs Denver but Wiggy will act like Steph was some mediocre player that just magically appeared in 2015.
