I'm waiting patiently for these details before I laugh at Atlanta for making Cleveland better to get nothing in return

Wouldn't surprise me because it certainly looks like Atl. is in firesale mode with rumors of a Milsap trade

I'm waiting on the details as well. His defense is horrendous though

and that was what I was going to bring up next. Korver is a knockdown shooter, but he may be a liability on the other end if he has a significant role

The Cavaliers need a backup point guard (Jarrett Jack, Mario Chalmers, or Rajon Rondo) more than they need a shooting guard (Kyle Korver) don't they?

Damn. So the Cavs are gonna get rid of a player that hasn't played a minute all season & get a damn good 3 point shooter in return? Cleveland just robbed Atlanta!

Cavs are making a separate deal with Blazers. They will trade their 2017 1st to get their 2018 first back, sources said.

Sorry, It was Mike Dunleavy Jr., not Mo Williams

Not a bad day for the Cavs. Looks like its chess and the next move is the Warriors

Korver is bad defensive player. In playoffs, he'd be behind JR. So I think this is mainly a stopgap/hedge move. The Warriors would look to chew up any weak defensive players. (Korver could not guard any of the Ws' starters)

so i think this is how it worked

-Cavs didnt have a 2018 first round pick (the Blazers own it)- that means they could NOT trade their 2017 first round pick- they would of had it in this upcoming draft

so- what they did was take their 2017 first round pick- and give it to Portland for the Cavs own 2018 first round pick back- plus Mo Williams---- The Blazers get their first round pick a year early- and take Mo williams- the Cavs then get to trade their 2019 first round pick---- this they trade with Dunleavy to the Hawks for Korver. The 2019 first round pick is supposedly heavily protected in case disaster strikes like a plane crash or LeBron leaving again.

pretty crazy maneuvering by Griffin. They open up a roster spot by getting rid of Mo- trade Dunleavy for Korver- and instead of having first round picks in 2017, 2019- they now have first round picks in 2018------ and the 2019 first round pick is heavily protected in case disaster hits.

Very good pickup for the cavs. Korver's going to give them another option for shooting the basketball.
