Meh, I have no issue with it. All Kobe did was accept the contract that was offered and got hurt. Can't blame him for either.

Plus, the Lakers knew how bad they were going to be and Kobe on the roster makes them a lot more money than they will ever pay him. If you're gonna suck, you may as well be profitable.

First: Perhaps, but please tell me what moron, er I mean stupid person would turn down 50 million dollars.::

Second: Be careful how much and how hard you love because father time is undefeated and just like it will be Kobe in in June, it will eventually be your Lebron James and might win one more or two more or even pass up Kobe with four more. We don't know yet and won't know until he finishes his career. I personally don't think the Cavaliers are good enough to be the Warriors, but the season is long and we have a lot of time to wait. In the event however Lebron does not win any more championships at all, it will be your beloved James that the rest of us are laughing at and commenting on how he had a losing record, never was as good as he thought, was over-rated and many other vicious remarks. Just a thought.

Now in the even that I develop alzheimers or dementia and don't remember - pretty sure some one will be here to laugh

That's probably what Suns fans thought 6-7 years ago... I don't think they care if Kobe keeps playing or not. It's been an automatic win against the Lakers for a while now. If anything the Lakers are a better team without him.
