If you look at the NBA finals thread, just in the first two pages it’s 6-3 with posters here picking the Heat. And one guy who said it could go either way. And only 1 of those Nuggets predictions said Denver in 5 and that was a Nuggets fan.

I had Denver in 6 or less. Hedged it a bit, but close...

To be fair if you draft guys and trade them for pieces that help you win that's still built not bought. Bought is free agents.

I didn't see many people picking Miami in this series. Some said they had a chance, but Denver was the favorite for obvious reasons.

Love that casino. Golden Nugget put its poker room on a separate floor so you don't have to hear all the other noise when you go. More casinos should emulate.

I have been in Denver - there are some nice highlights - a few miles or more out of town there is a casino build in the mountain - literally. The air force academy is a great thing to see and Rocky National Park is a great place to visit and Estes Park. Nice town, and pretty safe. I never did pay any attention to the Denver Thuggets though

AF academy is in C Springs, not Denver. Just sayin'...

I have only played the main event once and I cashed pretty well in it. I generally go play about 3 events and play some main event satelites. Im playing the monster stack and senior events this year and will see where it goes.

Yes, The casino is actually at least 50 miles or so from Denver - I was just generalizing about Denver and not being specific - but that most likely was over hurricane's area - He probably wouldn't even know that you can do tours at the academy -
