Can anyone provide actual video of the dunk attempt in question? Without video evidence it is hard to make a judgement on what actually happened.

It sounds like a guy on a dunk attempt was fouled hard and the dunk popped out. Now if the ref decides it was an intentional/flagrant foul then the offense can be rewarded 2 shots and the ball. If it was only ruled a foul then 2 shots.
The D player has 6 fouls to use as they see fit, and fouling a player attempting a shot shouldn't automatically be defined as a intentional or flagrant just because the offensive player had a perceived advantage at that moment.

He is a solid coach. One of the very best defensive coaches in the league. Very lacking offensively, always has been.

When you focus most of your time and energy on defense and have a flawed roster, inconsistent offense is going to be the result.

You have a very strong athletic player , who is dummer than dum, Randle , who can set a pick for him to get open for an easy jam. You got quickley, who has balls , can penetrate the zone for a stop and pop, or a floater few feet out, or a drop off to Robinson once his defender leaves to help out. NOTHING IS DONE!!!

It’s insane to do the same stupid thing over and over and over every game, when these few extra points can put you over the top!

there is no creativity in thibs!!!! He’s been around the league, other good coaches long enough to have learned something to have up his sleeve , to pull one out! He doesn’t even try. Either he’s afraid, stubborn , or he has no faith in his players.

I’m really not up on anything other than team I support , sorry I cannot elaborate on who Halliburton is, I’ll trust your judgment.

I always said coaches, no matter the level, need to coach. How is Toppin to grow if he is not led? that kid to me has dominque abilities, he’s long, great hang time , power to the hoop drive. He’s got a nice touch from deep. But, what he doesn’t have is leadership .

You can see Qickley needs no one to influence him, he takes charge. He runs the court. But there’s only so much he can do, you need strategy from a coach for them to execute.

The 2 best shots in basketball by percentages are layups/dunks and open 3s.

Teams are shooting more because analytics tell them too. 33% from 3 is the same as shooting 50% from 2. And most NBA players shoot better than 33% on 3s and significantly worse than 50% on midrange 2.
