Dolan owns the New York Rangers
The Rangers have a GM
They have a head coach
They have assistance who specialize in certain areas of game
They have players who have to execute the coaches plan..
They have nutritionists and trainers who train….
So, according to you all there is nothing similar to what the blueprints are for success for a team in the NBA.
Ok
Basketball has G league..NHL has a true minor league, the NBA does not. Big difference, to name one.
Basketball has G league..
And lots more play the game of basketball all over the world , much more than they do hockey, so what is your point?
Basketball , are the greatest most gifted athletes in the world. In no way does it take as long to get to the show as it does in any other sport .The G league is not a true minor league is my point. Hockey's minor league system is multiple levels deep. It's a different strategy involved. NBA is much different, given that there are only 15 max full season players on a roster at any given time. Individual players (and blown draft picks, free agent signings) have a bigger impact.
This is every bit as good as your other posts. Well done!Knicks, A team with a challenged roster seems to compete with most of the teams in the NBA , could ya imagine if ya just put just a little more emphasis on the little things, the easy things like boxing out, hittin free throws , ya just might pull out a few more wins in a league that no longer has a game plan.
Dude, get a life! This is every bit as good as your other posts. Well done!
498 × 498Dude, get a life!
Going Around and trying to pick a fight with every poster you feel is beneath you only proves one thing, how insecure you truly are.
Take your graduate with honors from Berkeley, the biggest douche bag university in the world , lol , and get help!
Have a fucked up day!
Lol , you win what?
You even watch the Knicks play?
Very few games they have been blown out from beginning…
They have had several times 20 plus leads in games and have pretty much blown them all..
Thibs clearly doesn’t know his ass from his elbow in havin the right personnel on court , no clue how to steal a game with a play that surprises, has no idea how to incorporate Robinson in a game offensively.
His team can’t hit their fouls shots and rarely box out.
Have to give credit where it is dueYes I have watched them. I have league pass.
These are the Knicks nine previous coaches. And with all those changes the only thing that's stayed the same is ownership.
Thibbs is .500 with the Knicks. Fizdale was 21-83. Mike Miller 17-27. Jeff Hornacek was 60-104. Derek Fisher was 40-96. Mike Woodson was 109-79. Mike D'Antoni was 121-167. Isiah Thomas was 56-108.
Larry Brown, a HOFer, was 23-59. He coached at 11 different places. He only had two stop with a below .500 record. His one year with the Knicks and his final 2+ seasons coaching in Charlotte.
The Knick will be jinxed as long as Dolan owns them. All star caliber players don't want to play for his team.
But keep blaming Thibbs. Changing coaches again won't change the real problem with the franchise.
Have to give credit where it is due
good DD
Now, in all those years, players who played for other teams who had some success who the Knicks GMs eventually picked up, played and sucked for Knicks, moved on and went on to have success for other teams , how do you blame Dolan for that?
What did Dolan do to players like JR smith who lebron hand picked himself, what did Dolan do to him that the Knicks got rid of him and many others who are havin a positive impact on their respective teams like hardaway jr for example, and many others ?
You think its possible that JR smith who was caught smokin weed clubbin it in PS might have gotten him his bags packed?
(1)You think maybe these guys don’t want to get caught up in NYC life where you are being watched 24/7 might have to do with know one wantin to play here..
What the F does Dolan , who has the dough, have anything to do with the player, Dolan is a liberal freek. He let isiah set the org back 10 years.
Money talks bullshit walks…How many all star caliber players not named Melo have signed with the Knicks this century?
And mentioning JR Smith makes no sense as he wasn't the type of player you build a team around. I'm talking about all star caliber players and up mention JR. Way to go.
1. You ever hear of the internet or social media? Players are already watched and criticized all the time. The N.Y. media has nothing to do with players not wanting to play for the Knicks. But Dolan has something to do with players not wanting to play for the Knicks. You just refuse to accept that.
Keep telling yourself the reason the Knicks have done next to nothing this century isn't about the owner who has the final say over everything.
Money talks bullshit walks…
You telling by me that in all the time Dolan has owned, he never had the money to attract a star?
You telling me that when Dolan brought Isiah here it wasn’t in good intentions to attract star players?
You say I can’t see it, well I say you can’t see it!
He owns 2 orgs , and the blueprints are similar to having success. The fact that you don’t not believe this is absolutely crazy. If it was Dolan that stars won’t play for then why do hockey star players like panarin, trojek, Zanbanashad play for him ?
I find that very hard to believeIt isn’t about money.
NBA has max contracts. So the money for the stars is the same wherever they sign.
So the stars are going to go to an organization they trust. The Knicks aren’t that.
Lousy organizations have to overpay to get players to sign there. That is why the Knicks had to pay $26 million to get Jalen Brunson AND hire his dad.
Nobody else was going anywhere near that high.
Brunson is a solid player. But not a franchise star on a good team.
