Apparently he was going to be UTEP's new DC before the Eagles called. Not sure if he's our new DC, or will be a position coach on the defense - he was with the Browns as their ILB coach since 2013.

Had better be a position coach. Why would your first option be UTEP DC, but that the Roseman and Lurie swoop in and give him the same NFL position?!?!

Make a move for Kirby Smart to an NFL DC or Don Brown or DJ Durkin--all 3 have new jobs already. I'm not okay with any other College DC moving to DC in the NFL. I don't believe the Flajole rumor--although it would make us the Rams from 5-7 years okay. If you recall, they were AWESOME!!!

If Frijole is the DC (I assume he's not) then we'll be in deep shit. I have no problem giving Pederson a shot, but Frijole would be awful.

Saw it reported yesterday - Schwartz or Pettine as DC targets.

What worries me more is bringing in Childress over Shurmur as OC.

Nice that's a good look for a defensive coach. When he says "play harder or I'll bite your heads off," they'll believe him!

Looks like Spags is a candidate - I'd be good with this, even though I don't think he'll leave NY.

With the talent on this defense, I think Spags is an ideal candidate to be our DC. Unforuntately New York is likely to keep him there, especially since if they fired him - he'd end up back in the division with us.

We went that way when we ended up with Juan Castillo. That worked masterfully.
