Don't hate Kemp at all, is one of my favorite players, but as a organization the Dodgers will have to make a decision on him, that may already have been made due to his contract, but we have 3 outfielders capable of winning other than Kemp, we've won all season without him too, would we be better if he was healthy? of course we would but by how much, if we can get another solid pitcher for him and a solid prospect we may have to consider it, or we could just let him heal, I will be happy either way, my only concern is his health and he's not getting younger...

Honestly, it's pretty scary that a Dodger fan would be happy with trading the starting center fielder as he enters his prime for a pitcher and a prospect.

This team isn't exactly in rebuilding mode, if you haven't been paying attention.

Do you really think they can get a pitcher and a solid prospect for Ethier?

If you are talking about the Chinchilla, his prime was in 2011 when he was juiced. Now that mental midget is a fucking car crash.

Well, as much as Andre and Carl get hurt, they're nowhere near the price of Kemp and yes there's a dropoff especially with Puig lately but pitching is going to take us far if we can get far this postseason not our hitting, Kemp may be get better but he's in his prime not past it but in it and it seems a lot of Dodger fans are banking on Kemp's great season a few yrs ago, haven't seen that Kemp since....

Either way if we keep him or not it's fine, I'm just thinking outside the box and the decisions management might make, I learned a long time ago not to get to excited about any players, they almost always seem to let you down..

Nope.

Well this thread is about Matt Kemp. And no, his talent is all there still. He's just injured. It happens. He was great in the first half of 2012 and his numbers in the second half (though only a small amount of games) of 2013 were solid.

He's only 29. He's barely 29. Why are you people so ready to give up on him?

When you should be sucking him off next year for his great play, you are NOT allowed to cheer for him

No one can suck him off with your obvious self on him constantly. When he goes down with yet another injury, you must stop acting like a fluffing apologist tool.

The MVP was the Jewcer Braun. I also think Kemp juiced. It certainly would not surprise me.

Kemp would have caught the ball Ethier missed.

One thing I am looking forward to next year is players actually being healthy. That will actually be weird for a change. I think we have to trade Either instead of Kemp though. There again, Kemp gets injured just walking around in the dugout.

What I don't get is Kemp running all over the field when he's supposedly hurt. I seem to be missing something there.

Would love to see Kemp healthy because the guy can flat out play. I'm not an advocate of trading Ethier, but, of the four OF'ers the Dodgers have, he's the one that brings the least to the table.

One reason I would keep him is uncertainty about Kemp's ability to play. If Kemp proves he's not made of tissue, like he did in 2011 and the beginning of 2012, then Ethier just could be a good candidate to trade.

Kemp isn't going nowhere but I wouldn't be surprised to see on e of them gone, we could use another starter
