Big year for BK IMO. He needs to show his plan is working, and I honestly think it is.

I do agree that this is a BIG year for him and ND. No more excuses. He has a Vet Oline, Vet Dline, one of the best combo CB's in the country, Top 10 RB and a great WR core and he has his QB in there. Cant ask for anymore. Oh yeah an ALL American LB.

This team is stacked. Biggest Weakness is FG kicking.

Not sure that is the case anymore, this kid is suppose to be the real deal. It might be better this yr.

I always thought he was staying at ND. What kind of a clueless, mindless fuck would've thought he was leaving?

Word of advice: If you ain't got much nice stuff to say, stay off the team boards. It's the only place trolling isn't allowed.

Shit, I didn't realize he was going anywhere. If he didn't go anywhere after he went 12-1, I'm not sure what a few 8-4 seasons would do to help his NFL stock.

Well he did go on an interview with the Eagles. That is 1 sign. The writing was on the wall that he was on his way out.

He had an opportunity after 2012, which he kinda squandered over the past 2 years. He may have it back after this year, but I honestly think his ability to get any NFL offers may depend on how well Chip Kelley does over the next 2 years.

I'm not sure he likes the idea of losing complete control over the program which he would in the NFL.

Kind of ballsy on his part. Everyone knows he was flirting with the NFL during the 12-1 season. Since then, he's done nothing to impress any GM's or owners with his on the field production. He's shown up at coaches clinics with pro coaches, went to the NFL, Trace Armstrong, his agent, has done what he can to keep his name out there for NFL owners. He's not going anywhere because he has no where to go.

And, I stopped listening to coaches saying they're not going anywhere ever since Saban flatly denied leaving the Dolphins for Alabama, right before he left the Dolphins for Alabama. See also Graham, Todd.

Bitch move, too!

As a Fins fan, I lost total respect for that dewsh after he did that. I have always wished Bama the worst of luck under that POS.

Kelly signed extension thru 2017 in 2013. He's not going anywhere until then, unless he turns the Irish into a dumpster fire.

I think ND learned about letting coaches go after the Weis debacle. I don't ever wanna see a deal like that inked again. We're still paying Jaba the Hut a butt-ton of money. May have been the biggest fleecing of a school in NCAA history. :L

This is what Kelly said. I think he tasted a little of the NFL and talked to other coaches that made the jump and he didn't like it.
