He got us into this and I think he will get us out of it. When I I say he got the team into this, I mean the cap issues. He hasn't laced up a pair of skated and failed to score or play D. I don't blame him for the team's poor start. Even with the short bench and current injuries, the Devils still have a good enough group of players to be winning more games. Lou has to work some magic. He's had a rough go of it ever since the lockout and now is his time to show what he can do. While I don't blame MacLean, it just seems like he may not be the right fit. Let's go Lou, make us proud.

PS, Get rid of Langenbrunner.

I'm all for getting rid of Langs at this point. Ordinarily I'm not one to say that but he just doesn't have it anymore. That, and he seems to have a bad attitude all the time!

Agreed on Langs.

I dunno Maclean's really not making any sense as each game goes by. Arnott was practically benched he played so little, has he done something too now to upset Maclean?

Like i said before i don't see Lou firing Maclean but when it comes down to it...it's got to be done. When is another matter, but the sooner the better surely.

Lang was making so many blind unquality passes last night, which proves his player's quality as falling apart. Same goes for his "C". Arnott will not stay on this team next season unless some magic will happen later in this season. JMac's system has failed - it is clear now. We can talk about injuries, but almost all losses were not close games, not overtime or shootout losses. Something has to start changing, but we don't see anybody trying to change anything. Where the hell is Lou hiding?

no faith in lou fixing this

never fixed the cap problem
still has issues at finding coaches
still has a ton of dead wood on this team thanks to his NTC's

He did have a terrific offseason doing what he did but I'm afraid i don't have faith that he'll do what the majority of us he think he should and let Mac go.

Does Kovy count in that? 1 point in 7 games?

Kovy IS the cap problem...at least one way of interpreting that.
