Mack, yep...ATL.

I would go Wentz or Goff @ 2 and start over. I suspect that's what Hue & Co will do....If I felt Bosa was a true stud at this level I would take him and circle back to QB at 32, but I still think he's a misfit in a 3-4.

Now that things have shaken out a little more, I would even consider trading back if someone was hot for Ramsey or whomever.

Mack was upfront that he was probably going to opt out LY so they took Erving in the draft as insurance...hopefully he's ready to take over. Schwartz imo is not a huge loss, but he was a starter. Benjamin hurt more than Schwartz in this supposedly weak WR draft class.

Work to do for sure.

The only one i was surprised that they let go was Benjamin. Maybe they thought he wasn't worth the money as a small wr who's only real trick is the deep threat.

I agree that they will likely go with Wentz with #2 overall (unless for some unforseen reason they think they have their QB of the future on the roster when they pick up Kaep). As much as I'd love to see Bosa in a Browns uni, I have a feeling they are going for a QB or trading for more picks.

Buckeye...I hear ya. If the scheme were a 4-3 I would strongly consider Bosa and then take a QB @ 32 even if I made the deal for Kaep.

I suppose the one benefit to being the Browns is that they can go in any direction with their pick because they need help at basically every position.

Benjamin got overpaid imo but I really think losing good offensive lineman is a terrible strategy, even if we thought they were overvalued our line was the only unit considered good last season. I fear next season could be winless if we don't replace the very little talent we had

I actually think this would be great for 49ers, Kaep and the Browns.

Well, any scenario where Kaepernick isn't on the 49ers is a good scenario for the 49ers. And allowing him to start again is good for Kaepernick.

And any scenario where the Browns don't have to make a draft pick is probably good for them, so you may be right.

This trade hinges on wether the 49ers cover any of his salary.....the Browns don't want to pay all of it.

Well news today is a week ago yes Kaepernick would have loved to have gone to Cleveland. Now that they have lost 2 starters on the OL plus their #1 WR not so much. I mean he did just have his shoulder operated on after being behind a bad OL so being behind another in Cleveland is not what he wants. Right now he wants to go to Denver above the other choices if it is up to him. Problem is San Fran wants the Broncos 2nd round pick and Elway isn't budging from his 3rd round pick offer.

Denver would be an interesting destination for Kaepernick.

I think he would do fine. The Broncos are rebuilding their OL. They still have 9 of the 11 starters on defense from last year and some young guys that stepped in that showed huge promise throughout the year that are ready to have a bigger role. So Kaepernick would have a team built more like he did earlier in his career in San Fran when he had success and wasn't asked to do more than he can. I don't view him as some life changing all star if we were to add him but the Broncos don't really need that type of player either. They need a guy that can manage the game, not turn the ball over, and make a few plays here and there. Continue to lean on the defense to lead them to success.
